Metalian is a South African manufacturer of premium off-road caravans and camper trailers, produced by Authentic Metal Works in Cape Town. Metalian caravans and trailers are engineered for demanding overland travel, with a strong focus on lightweight construction, durability, dust and water resistance, and practical off-grid use. The current range includes the M42 off-road caravan as well as the Genie, Bowhunter, Parthian and Maxi camper trailers. Models can be configured with options such as rooftop tents, water systems, kitchens, fridges, electrical systems, solar-compatible equipment and additional storage. Metalian components are cut and bent in-house, and its trailers are homologated with the NRCS. The company also works through authorised dealers in Gauteng, Cape Town, KwaZulu-Natal and Namibia, with those dealers equipped to assist with upgrades and servicing. Metalian products have also received international recognition in Australia's Camper Trailer of the Year competition.
